Welcome to my creative space! After a fulfilling career teaching business and leadership at a local college, I have embraced a new chapter as a self-taught stained glass artist. My journey into the world of stained glass began in 2017, inspired by the breathtaking interplay of color and light that captivated me during my childhood visits to churches.

Each piece I create is a reflection of my passion for art and my commitment to continuous learning and growth as an artist. I find joy in experimenting with different techniques and styles, always striving to push the boundaries of my craft.

A friend gave me some coveted red glass so in return I offered to make her something. She asked for a crow, her favorite bird - this is what I designed!! I love the flexibility of stained glass! This little guy is the Black mage from the final fantasy video game. I created him as a gift for a game aficionado and truly enjoyed the process of researching the character and creating my own pattern! What other characters should I do? After a summer hiatus, I am back in my studio! One of my first projects was to bring my logo image to life! I am happy with how it turned out, especially the color palette. I love blue and yellow together! I visited the Rijks Museum in Amsterdam, and of course I enjoyed the stained glass as much as the amazing art! I am in awe of these windows and surmise they took years to create! This piece highlights all the different textures of clear glass. I also included photos of the cutting and the soldering phases. Again, no pattern and no plan, but I'm happy that you can really see the variations in the glass. What I love about glass as a medium, is the ability to create humor and whimsy. These are a few of the more comical pieces I have done - mostly used as fun gifts! This is one of my favorite pieces, one that I created without a pattern or a plan and allowed the colors to gradually move through the rainbow. It was such a fun piece to create! Wanted to make something that reflects the joy of spring sunshine! This was my very first stained glass piece in 2017, completed in our basement with limited skill and tools. I was so proud of myself and thrilled to have created it on my own. Most of the glass skills I have learned on YouTube or through trial and error. In these past 8 years, my skills have improved and my passion increased!
